A few months ago, we donated some of our leftover stock to an incredible NPO - ‘Taking Care of Business’, where ladies in their resell program repurchased and sold these garments in their communities as part of their small businesses.
We have since donated some of our excess muslin to some incredibly talented ladies that form part of their remake program, which equips seamstresses and aspiring entrepreneurs to run a sustainable business through their design and sewing skills.
From the fabric donated, they made these beautiful envelope bags that we then, in support of their small businesses, bought from them.
This has been an incredible project that we are so humbled to have been a part of. By purchasing with us and receiving one of these lovely bags, you too are indirectly helping to support these ladies and their families!
