We had the absolute honour of visiting ‘Taking Care of Business’ (TCB) this month, an NPO that trains, nurtures, and supports unemployed, disadvantaged citizens to start their own sustainable businesses.
With various programs put in place, these individuals are equipped and given the necessary means to be able to reskill, resell, remake, repair, or redistribute through the stock donated by various external parties.
We can still recall the gratitude and smiles on their faces when we donated our leftover winter stock. A reminder that every donation, no matter how big or small, makes such a difference in changing lives and empowering unemployed South Africans and their families to escape the cycle of poverty through small business opportunities - a truly incredible initiative that we are thrilled to have contributed to, and so can you!
